Since 1960, Jersey Mencap has worked in partnership with many individuals, institutions and other charitable organisations in obtaining assistance to provide improved facilities and services for people with learning disabilities.

Long-term care in Jersey. How should we pay?

This is a public consultation on the funding of long-term care being carried out by the Social Security Department and it is very important and very relevant to people with a learning disability and their parents/carers if long-term care in a group home will be required.  There is also some focus on those who will need care and support but remain in or have their own home.

THE POND 2010

The Pond looked fantastic during the recent cold spell and it took more than a bit of snow to stop our gang of dedicated workers who can be seen working on creating the path.

You can see the path that  has already been cut back and is forming around the sides.
